Being given a Civil Protection whitelist is one of the highest levels of trust you can be given. If you proceed to abuse this whitelist then it WILL result in a character ban, a lengthy ban from the server, and a possible blacklist from the faction all together so you can never again apply to be a Civil Protection unit.
Rule 1: No item/token transferring - This is a base rule of the server and will always land a player with a heavy ban. Do not transfer any amount of items or tokens from your Civil Protection unit to another character or container to be later reclaimed by you on another character.
Rule 1b: This also includes giving any item or token to another member of a different faction e.g. citizen without valid reason. So you will be banned for giving a citizen an mp7 knowingly, but will not be banned for giving a red-tier loyalist a Union card when they reach red-tier.
Rule 2: No Going rouge - Your unit cannot go rouge without authorisation from the faction leader. To go rouge you must have a valid reason after developing your character over time. We're not having any intention 5's running down into the sewers on day one.
Rule 3: No Power gaming - Yes, this is in the rules and well known by all, but you cannot use your power as a Civil Protection unit to bypass role-play rules and force your actions on someone else. I wanted to make sure this is clear to all units. You must always "ATTEMPT".
Rule 4: No altering LPs or VPs of a citizen without reason - If you are caught changing the amount of Loyalty points or verdict points a citizen has for no reason at all then you will face a lengthy ban and a definite blacklist from the faction.
Rule 5: No random searches - Unless authorised by Dispatch, you cannot search someone randomly in the street on the off chance that they are carrying contraband. This is because you may recognise the person OOCly and know them to be a person who usually carries items of contraband. For this reason, this rule is being incorporated into the metagame rule. You may only search people on the streets if Dispatch have given you authorisation or it is protocol, e.g. in a sweep or the person has committed a transgression.
