What are the Civil Protection in the game Half Life 2? What do they do? And why are they there?
Explain the ranking system within the Civil Protection

Situations
You are stood in-front of the Nexus by yourself and other units are patrolling a different sector of the city. A citizen with no approaches you and demands entry to the Nexus. How would you respond to this?
You are assigned to your protection-team and are patrolling the city with your fellow units when a masked individual jumps from around the corner and fires upon your team. Instantly one of the units are killed and you and the other unit are left, only with stun-sticks as you are both low ranks. What would you attempt to do?
You are searching a male citizen, when you find that he is carrying a Baseball Bat in his backpack. The man has not attempted to resist or attack you as his hands are bound and there are another two units with you. What would you do to the male and what would you radio in to Dispatch?
